Welcome to Connollys Bar, Kinvara, Co. Galway. Owned and run, by Cathal & Olga, Connollys Bar in Kinvara has been in the Connolly family for generations, and in October 2009, will celebrate its 101st anniversary.

In the summer, sitting at the bay window, or outside the
front, you can enjoy your refreshments overlooking Kinvara / Galway Bay, or during the winter you may
prefer to cosy up to the magnificent roaring open fire.
Connollys is well known country-wide for it's live traditional music and sessions, which are held at least three times a week.

By DAN BARRY AN August night in the sea-scented village of Kinvara finds us at Connolly's, a pub so permanent that if some codger were to tell you it was here before Galway Bay, lapping now just outside the door, you'd nod and buy him a pint. My wife and I are hunched at a small table with friends when a smiling woman in a peasant skirt sits beside us, carrying a perfectly appropriate accessory in this corner of Ireland - a button accordion.
